We want a missional outlook
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
If the greatest commandment is the overarching principle that defines us as a Church, then the great commission is a key principle for the ministry we are engaged in. There is only one kind of Church that Jesus established and that was a ‘sent’ one. We are tasked with continuing to make disciples. We create a mission outlook in the following ways.
We Outreach
We offer a variety of social events to reach a wide variety of people
We engage with and supporting activities in the village as an opportunity to be ‘salt and light’ to those around us.
We Evangelise
We seek opportunities to share the gospel with those who have never heard it.
We host and run process evangelism courses such as Alpha or Christianity explored.
We Embrace Occasional Offices
We embrace the opportunities that presented by the occasional offices of baptism, marriage and funerals.
We offer communion.
